Planning a Fridge Slide and Preparation Space for Camping

A camping layout works best when the fridge, stored equipment and preparation surface can all be reached where you intend to use them. An earlier Lawson Facebook demonstration combines a fridge slide, drawer and prep space in one ute layout.

Plan the working area with the storage

Think about the position of the open fridge, the extended slide, the drawer and the tailgate or rear door. A preparation surface needs a useful location as well as sufficient size. Equipment that looks neatly arranged when closed still needs room to move when you use it.

• Choose the fridge and check its dimensions and opening clearance.
• Decide which utensils and supplies belong in a drawer.
• Identify where you want to prepare food or organise equipment.
• Confirm the layout with the relevant slides and drawers extended.

High Deck Slide or Kitchen Module?

The INFINITY High Deck Slide with Slim Drawer and Prep Table provides an elevated sliding deck, shallow storage and a removable preparation table in a click-in module.

The INFINITY Kitchen Module is a different component with two slim drawers, a slide-out cooking deck and a removable preparation table. An induction cooktop shown with that product is not included. Discuss the equipment you intend to use so the required fit and clearance can be confirmed.
