Single Drawer and Slide or Twin Drawers: Which Ute Layout Suits You?

The useful question is not simply how many drawers will fit. It is what you want to carry above them, what needs to slide out, and where a fridge or battery box will sit. Lawson's ute range offers several layouts for those different requirements.

When twin drawers make sense

A Twin Drawer System with Side Wings gives you two rear-access drawers below a fixed upper deck. It suits a plan that prioritises drawer storage and a load surface above.

The separate Twin Drawer System with Full Sliding Top Deck adds movement to the entire upper deck. Choose that arrangement when bringing the equipment above the drawers towards you is part of the requirement.

When a single drawer and slide is useful

The High Deck Slide with Single Drawer, Wing Kit and Battery Box combines a RHS drawer with a slide and a battery-box position in front of the slide. It provides a different balance of drawer storage, deck access and dedicated compartment space.

An optional removable hutch is available on that product. It is an addition to the selected layout rather than an inclusion in every ute system.

What about a drawer fridge?

A drawer-fridge system is another distinct option. The 30-litre storage layout is offered across the supported ute range; the 40-litre EvaKool version is currently offered for Ranger and Amarok. The fridge is additional to the storage-system price.
