What Can You Store in a Slim Drawer Beneath a High Deck Slide?

A slide deck provides access to equipment above it. A slim drawer uses the shallow space underneath for smaller items that would otherwise be mixed into a deeper drawer or storage case.

What is a slim drawer useful for?

It can provide a separate place for small tools, cables, utensils and accessories, provided the items fit the usable internal dimensions. Think about the height of the objects as well as their length and width. Shallow storage is most useful when its contents can be seen and retrieved easily.

A slim drawer complements a larger drawer rather than replacing it. Larger tools and bulky equipment still need sufficient depth and an appropriate load space.

Which Lawson slides include one?

The INFINITY High Deck Slide with Slim Drawer and Prep Table combines these functions in a removable wagon module. The Milwaukee Slide Deck with Slim Drawer provides a sliding deck sized for Milwaukee base plates and storage underneath.

The Milwaukee Easy Access System also includes a slim drawer in its base slide. Its separate slide shelf tiers carry the selected PACKOUT units; the cases themselves are not included.

Can a custom slide have two slim drawers?

In the Custom Slide Creator, high-deck slides can have a slim drawer. High decks with three runners offer a two-drawer choice. Current high-deck widths from 900 mm use three runners. Low-deck and high-deck choices serve different layouts, so select the configuration that suits the required storage and support.
