The storage you see above a cargo floor is only part of the layout. This earlier LandCruiser 300 walkthrough looks at the false-floor subframe and battery platform beneath the deck, showing how the foundation is planned before drawers and fridge slides are added.
What the platform brings together
- A subframe supporting the false-floor layout.
- Removable lift-out floor panels.
- Planned areas for battery and electrical equipment.
- Mounting provision for compatible drawers and fridge slides.
Keeping service access in the design matters when equipment sits beneath the cargo deck. Lift-out panels provide access to the areas below, while the upper surface provides the starting point for the storage modules above.
Plan storage and power together
A useful touring layout considers the drawer, fridge and power requirements at the same time. The walkthrough illustrates that approach: the underfloor areas and module mounting positions form part of one planned system.
This archive video shows an earlier platform. It is not a specification sheet for the current PowerDeck range and does not set today's battery capacity, charger, inverter rating or package inclusions.
